435 North Lasalle

MJP Capital, LLC, the majority partner in Ceres Acquisitions, LLC acquired 435 North LaSalle in 2015 and exited the property in December of 2019 for over twice the purchase price.

Getco

Mr. Palumbo was the main venture capitalist behind the funding of Getco Holding Company, LLC. in 2000, which would later become one of the world’s largest high frequency trading firms. After a series of six transactions ending in the fall of 2008 the Getco position was exited for a 250-million-dollar gain.

Hippo

Pre IPO investment via Pipeline Capital Partners and Managing Director Joel Yarmon in October of 2016. A Palo Alto-based insurance technology startup Hippo sells homeowners insurance online. It is to go public in a 5-billion-dollar SPAC.

SpaceX

SpaceX is an American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services company. Initial Investment via Pipeline Capital Partners in May of 2017.

PharmaCann

MJP was one of the early investors and large shareholders in PharmaCann, one of the country’s largest vertically integrated cannabis companies.

Ethereum

The world’s 2nd largest cryptocurrency and the blockchain that supports the majority of the world’s NFTs. Initial investment August of 2017 via Pipeline Capital Partners.

Treehouse and Aventine

REIT Investments focused on the acquisition, ownership, and management of cannabis retail and industrial properties that generate rental revenue under long-term, net lease agreements.
